Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Bilang at bilang.org and related clients (including Telegram Mini Apps), operated by MultionLabs (“we”, “us”).

By creating an account or using Bilang, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

Bilang is a language-learning product offering personal training sets (including flashcards), diary writing practice, a personal dictionary, import/export tools, optional translation helpers, and related features. Features may change, be added, or be discontinued as we develop the product.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in email under your control.
• You are responsible for activity under your account. Magic links and Telegram sessions are credentials — do not share them.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service or violate these Terms.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of content you create in Bilang (dictionary entries, training sets, diary entries, notes, imports you save, etc.). You grant us a limited license to host, process, display, and back up that content solely to operate and improve Bilang.

You are responsible for the content you upload and for having the rights to use material you import (including from Quizlet or other sources). Do not upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.

If you make a training set public, anyone with the link (and search engines, if indexed) may read it. Choose visibility carefully.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to break into, overload, scrape, or disrupt Bilang or its infrastructure.
• Circumvent access controls or use another person’s account without permission.
• Use Bilang to send spam or to process others’ personal data unlawfully.
• Reverse engineer the service except where permitted by applicable law.
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation in a deceptive way.

5. Third-party services

Bilang may call third-party APIs (for example email delivery, translation, or public dictionaries). Their availability and terms are outside our control. Browser-assisted Quizlet import depends on Quizlet’s site/APIs and may break without notice; Bilang does not claim affiliation with Quizlet.

6. Intellectual property

Bilang’s software, branding, and design are owned by MultionLabs or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you a right to copy or redistribute our product except as needed for normal use.

7. Disclaimer

Bilang is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free translations, or perfect lexical data. Learning outcomes are not guaranteed.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MultionLabs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or learning progress arising from your use of Bilang. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for Bilang in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) EUR 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.

9. Termination

You may stop using Bilang at any time. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Provisions that by nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, limitations) will survive termination.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will change the “Last updated” date when we do. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence say otherwise. Courts in Germany have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer venue rights.
